What’s your property really worth?
Get a local agent’s opinion of what it would sell for. Free, and no obligation.
Four short steps. You choose which agents hear from you, or compare agents near you first.
You choose who hears from you
Up to three agents in your suburb. Nobody is pre-ticked, nobody else is added.
Agents don’t pay for your details
Agents don’t pay to appear on Listd or to receive your request, so there’s no reason to pass it around.
Know who you’re choosing
See each agent’s sales in your suburb and how many five-star Google reviews they have before you decide.
Common questions
Plain answers, no sales pitch. Anything else, ask the agent when they call.
No. An appraisal is a local agent’s opinion of what your home would likely sell for, based on recent sales nearby and a look at the property. A valuation is a formal report by a licensed valuer, usually ordered by a bank for a loan. An appraisal is free; a valuation is not.
Nothing. Agents appraise homes for free because it is how they meet owners who might sell with them. You are not obliged to list with anyone who appraises your home.
Only the agent or agents you chose. Each gets your request and contacts you directly.
That depends on the agent, but most get in touch soon after to arrange a time. The appraisal itself is usually a 30 to 60 minute visit, and you can expect a figure or a range soon after.
An agent gives a better figure after seeing the property, but you can ask for a desktop appraisal first if you prefer. Say so when they call.
Choose “Rent it out” and the request becomes a rental appraisal: the agent will estimate the likely weekly rent rather than a sale price.
