I’m John Ward, and alongside my wife Sue, I’m proud to lead Harcourts Ward, our family-owned and operated real estate business. For me, real estate has always been about people first and property second. While I’m proud to be recognised as one of Queensland’s top sales performers, what matters most is providing my clients with genuine care, honest advice, clear communication and results they can count on.

Before stepping into real estate in 2002, I spent six years in the Australian Army, followed by several years in management roles. Those experiences taught me discipline, leadership, resilience and the importance of following through on what you say you’ll do — qualities that continue to shape the way I approach real estate today.

Having lived in Warner for many years, I have a genuine connection to the local area and the communities we work in. I love the family-friendly lifestyle, strong community spirit and seeing how Warner and Brisbane’s Northside have grown and changed over the years.

With nearly 25 years of real estate experience across all types of markets, I’ve learned there’s no substitute for experience, hard work and being hands-on. Every property and every client is different, and I believe the best results come from taking the time to understand what people are trying to achieve and developing the right strategy for them.

I’m passionate about guiding people through their property journey with honesty, care and a personal approach. Running Harcourts Ward with Sue allows us to combine the personal service of a local, family-run agency with the strength, technology and reach of the Harcourts network.
