Greg Ferguson

Born and raised in Cairns, I’m proud to call this beautiful region home. A graduate of Cairns State High School (Class of ’92) and James Cook University, where I earned my Bachelor of Commerce in 2000, I’ve built my life and career right here in Far North Queensland.

From 1996 to 2025, I served as Director and General Manager – Finance of my family’s business, Destination Cairns Marketing. As a local leader in tour booking and wholesale distribution, the company played a major role in showcasing the region’s natural beauty to visitors from around the world. This experience gave me deep insight into the local economy, tourism, and the value of building strong community relationships.

My passion for real estate began with my first property purchase in 1997 and has only grown since. With decades of business and financial expertise, I bring a results-driven, client-focused approach to buying and selling property—backed by a lifetime of local knowledge.

Outside of work, I’m a long-time volunteer in Cairns' local cricket scene, supporting grassroots sports and community development.
